Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC in Minnesota is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman to oversee and coordinate drilling operations for telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring safe, efficient installation of cables and equipment while maintaining project deadlines.

You will act as the on-site expert, guiding less experienced crew, reading engineering drawings, determining bore paths, and ensuring accurate drilling, proper utility protection, and adherence to safety procedures in all

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
At least 3 years of drill bores equipment experience in telecom/construction.

Responsibilities

Lead new site Job Safety Analysis.
Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities.
Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities.
Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete tasks assigned to crew.
Determine bore path and locate utilities.
Utilize “Mud” mixing systems.
Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection.
Schedule, maintain equipment & tooling, and perform site set-up and clean-up.
Resolve property owner complaints and document work.
Perform work in all weather conditions.
Other duties as assigned.
