Job summary

TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman to oversee drilling operations for telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring safe and efficient installation of cables and equipment. You’ll serve as the on-site expert, guiding less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years operating drill bores equipment in telecom/construction.
• CDL Class A with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis
• Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities
• Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities
• Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete tasks assigned to crew
• Determine bore path and locate utilities
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems
• Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection
• Schedule, maintain equipment & tooling, and perform site set-up and clean-up
• Resolve property owner complaints and document work
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

Valid state driver's license with a z

Willing to obtain CDL tanker endorse

Education

High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience

3+ years experience operating drill bores equipment in telecom/construction
