Job summary

North Sky Communications, LLC in Selma, CA is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure. You will determine bore paths, locate utilities, and safely operate drilling equipment.

Responsibilities include developing bore schedules, site setup and maintenance, and performing work in all weather conditions. You will need a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it, plus a valid US driver’s license and 18+

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment and bore design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
