Job summary

North Sky Communications is seeking a Foreman Telecom Drill Bores Operator to supervise on-site drilling for telecom infrastructure in Sparks, NV. You will lead crew operations, read and interpret engineering drawings, and ensure safe, efficient installation of cables and utilities while coordinating with teammates and site stakeholders.

The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it, at least 3 years of drill bores experience in telecom or construction, and

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid US driver’s license with clean record.
• Class A CDL with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• 3+ years operating drill bores equipment in telecom/construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Read engineering drawings, prints, and technical documents for OSP facilities.
• Draw prints or sketches and document field notes for OSP facilities.
• Safely operate and control all equipment needed for crew tasks.
• Determine bore path and locate existing utilities.
• Utilize Mud mixing systems.
• Ensure accurate directional drilling and utility protection.
• Schedule work, maintain equipment and tooling, and perform site setup and cleanup.
• Resolve property owner concerns and document completed work.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
