Job summary

The Friedkin Group in Houston, TX is seeking an Analyst II, Telecom Services to manage day-to-day IT Telecommunications, inventory, procurement, licensing, and related processes. You will partner with Procurement and End User Computing to optimize purchasing, vendor management, and data accuracy.

You will monitor invoices, support budgeting, identify automation opportunities with approved AI tools, and ensure accurate data across mobility, circuits, and IT hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 3–4 years of field experience or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Knowledge of telecommunications, inventory management, procurement, and software licensing administration.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and reconcile information across systems.
• Understanding of supplier evaluation factors including capacity, supply stability, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day IT Telecommunications, hardware/software procurement, inventory, licensing, and related processes.
• Maintain accurate mobile associate data, devices, and service records; monitor data quality and validation controls.
• Collaborate with Procurement on sourcing, vendor management, contracts, and business continuity tasks.
• Monitor telecommunications invoices, credits, and data for trends, savings, and anomalies.
• Support budgeting processes and use approved AI tools for data-intensive tasks with proper controls.
• Oversee IT inventory, purchasing, and software license records across IT & UE systems.
