Job summary

DCOMM is seeking a Telecommunication Construction Supervisor to oversee construction crews across multiple sites in Corpus Christi, TX. You will monitor performance, ensure safety, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include field inspections, training staff, managing inventory and subcontractors, using field management software, and coordinating with teams to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in a leadership role recommended.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs and use bucket trucks when necessary.
• Knowledge of underground equipment and city codes for underground work.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring teams work together to deliver quality work to strict deadlines.
• Monitoring construction processes and providing training
• Adhering to health and safety regulations
• Performing equipment, material, and routine site inspections
• Assisting with training of new staff
• Processing paperwork and traveling to multiple sites as required
• Using field management software for work entry and approvals
• Coordinating daily workload for aerial, underground or MDU work
• Troubleshooting build-out issues in the field
• Assisting with contractor invoicing and vendor management
• Verifying safety standards, PPE, and vehicle safety
• Performing QA inspections on completed work
• Assisting with damage claim investigations and resolutions
• Assisting weekly safety- and quality-focused team meetings
• Monitoring W2 headcount and technician timesheets
• On-call rotation or emergency response as needed
• Conducting weekly vehicle and tool inspections
• Monitoring inventory usage, excess and waste
• Staying current with safety codes and construction advancements
