Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction, LLC seeks a Telecom Construction Supervisor to oversee field telecom projects across multiple PA locations. You will direct on-site crews, manage task assignments, track materials, and ensure safety and quality control to meet customer specs.

You’ll provide on-the-job training, coordinate daily production, and keep precise records while resolving issues promptly on site. Strong safety orientation is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operations to ensure construction is completed to specifications.
• Provide on-the-job training for construction practices and safety.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers.
• Requisition and track materials for daily operations.
• Perform audits to ensure compliance with project specs and safety.
• Resolve complaints from property owners in work areas.
• Review reports and maintain accurate as-built maps.
• Reconcile issued parts and materials daily.
• Verify and approve daily production for billing.

What you’ll do

Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer and industry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on projects are working safely and productively.

Provide employees working under your direction "On the Job Training" such as; construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.

Requisition, assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.

Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.

Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.

Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate "as-built maps" for areas built.

Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.

Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes.

Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Must have a valid driver's license

Must have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry

Good understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety

Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner

Knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.

Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
