Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC seeks a Telecom Construction Supervisor to oversee all project operations on site, assign daily tasks, track materials, and enforce safety and quality control. You’ll manage personnel, maintain records, resolve issues, and ensure projects meet specifications while staying on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all operations to ensure construction aligns with customer and industry specs.
• Provide on-the-job training for safe and productive work environments.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract labor.
• Requisition, track, and manage materials for daily operations.
• Audit operations for compliance with project specs and safety practices.
• Resolve complaints from property owners where work is performed.
• Review daily production reports and reconcile material usage.
• Verify daily production reports for billing accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Supervise all operations to ensure that all construction operations are completed in accordance with customer andindustry specifications. This includes ensuring that all employees working on projects are working safely and productively.
• Provide employees working under your direction "On the Job Training" such as; construction practices and methods to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
• Assign daily production to in-house and subcontract laborers and crews.
• Requisition, assign and track materials needed for the daily operations.
• Perform audits of construction operations to ensure work is being completed in compliance with project specifications and monitor safe work practices.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Review daily production reports, material usage sheets, keep track of work hours, complete and maintain accurate"as-built maps" for areas built.
• Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
• Verify submitted Daily Production Reports for accuracy and approve recorded production for billing purposes.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

• To be 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry
• Strong project management skills
• Good understanding of OSHA requirements and a priority for safety Knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
• Knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
