Job summary

Lighthouse Technologies provides turnkey fiber engineering, construction, fulfillment, and maintenance services. We seek a Telecom Cable Construction Supervisor in Kinston, NC to lead field operations and ensure quality and client satisfaction across projects.

The role requires local presence, travel, and strong leadership. Candidates should have 2–3 years in the cable industry, knowledge of codes, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in the cable or related industry.
• Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods.
• Strong leadership, time management and field coordination skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screening.
• MS Office proficiency and reliable travel readiness.
• SCTE or NCTI membership/certification preferred.
• Local to Kinston, NC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise local technicians or contractors as assigned by local management.
• Maintain and develop professional relationships with the local MSO (primary customer).
• Manage day-to-day field operations for the assigned team, coordinating with local support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all field-related performance metrics.
• Conduct random safety site inspections to enforce client safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Role Description

We are seeking a Telecom Cable Construction Supervisor with a strong understanding of the cable and fiber installation industry. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day field operations of an assigned team of technicians and contract partners. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and committed to maintaining high standards in quality, safety, and client satisfaction. This position requires regular travel, with all travel expenses fully covered.
