Job summary

Lighthouse Technologies is seeking a Telecom Cable Construction Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day field operations of technicians and contract partners in the Syracuse area. You will supervise crews, coordinate with local support, and ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Qualified candidates have 2-3 years in cable or related industries, leadership experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel is required and travel expenses are covered.

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of experience in the cable or related industry.
• Being local to the Binghamton–Syracuse area is preferred.
• Previous leadership experience, including project coordination and time management.
• Knowledge of building code requirements and scheduling methods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug screening.
• SCTE or NCTI membership and/or certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise local technicians or contractors as assigned by local management.
• Maintain and develop professional relationships with the local MSO (our primary customer).
• Manage day-to-day field operations for your assigned team, including coordination with local support staff and resolving field-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with all field-related performance metrics.
• Conduct random safety site inspections to enforce client safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
