Job summary

CableCom is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Construction Supervisor by coordinating CATV projects, scheduling site visits with property owners, and ensuring work progresses on schedule and to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of outside plant telecommunications or utility project coordination, a valid Class C driver's license, basic computer and Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (Class 'C').
• 1-2 years of experience in delivering outside plant telecommunications services or utility industry project coordination.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office experience including calendar management.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, bending, walking and driving during shift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate CATV projects to ensure operations are completed per customer and industry specifications.
• Schedule walks to evaluate job specifications with property owners.
• Coordinate construction efforts with the Construction Supervisor to meet deadlines including site access.
• Prepare a statement of work.
• Build a job packet including photos, maps and supporting documentation.
• Requisition materials needed for construction operations.
• Prepare a line item cost estimate.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in assigned areas.
• Complete and maintain accurate AsBuilt Maps for submission to the Supervisor.
