Job summary

RLM Underground LLC seeks a Construction Manager to oversee underground and aerial telecom projects nationwide, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time completion. The CM will lead ground crews, coordinate with field teams and clients, and enforce project standards and procedures.

You will be responsible for daily site inspections, reporting, and keeping equipment and sites clean and compliant, with relocation not considered and Kentucky residency preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecom construction, including underground and/or aerial project execution.
• Proven supervisory background directing crews on large telecom projects.
• Strong risk assessment and risk management with focus on safety and compliance.
• Ability to interpret, implement, and uphold company policies, procedures, and project standards.
• Effective leadership including crew coordination, decision-making, and accountability.
• Clear, professional communication with field teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversees construction sites to ensure quality and safety.
• Manages customer/homeowner relations and addresses concerns.
• Ensures work adheres to approved documents and procedures.
• Ensures timely, efficient, and safe project completion.
• Directs ground crews daily and maintains site discipline.
• Prepares redline and daily reports.
• Handles procurement at jobsites (materials and supplies).
• Monitors schedule updates and progress.
• Maintains cleanliness of sites and equipment.
• Conducts daily inspections of vehicles and sites.
