Job summary

MasTec Communications Group is seeking a Construction Manager to lead telecom utility projects from start to finish. You will supervise crews, review schedules, and maintain safety and quality standards on every job.

The role requires 3–5 years of telecom construction management experience, strong map-reading and blueprint skills, and proficiency with MS Office and project management tools. A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of telecom utility construction and lead a team of construction professionals.
• Provide high-level customer service for escalated issues.
• Direct multiple crews and supervise job site activities.
• Review schedules and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Coordinate hiring and employment paperwork; promote a safe work environment.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, maps, and bid documents; identify issues.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
• Meet with senior management, peers, and customers; assist in estimating and bidding.
