Job summary

TrueNet Communications, a 1Finity Company, seeks a Construction Manager to plan, coordinate and inspect telecom, fiber, wireless and HFC projects across Alabama. You will work with in-house and subcontractor crews, manage field engineering, and oversee permitting, ROW and budgeting activities in a dynamic, field-heavy role.

Qualified candidates bring 5+ years of CATV/OSP experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and related tools, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CATV (cable television) / Telecommunications OSP infrastructure design and construction.
• Working knowledge of Telecom, Fiber, Wireless and HFC infrastructure design/construction principles.
• Experience with AutoCad and Lode Data preferred.
• Ability to learn, utilize and work efficiently in TrueNet and customer systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, oversee and inspect new, rebuild and upgrade telecom/fiber/wireless/HFC construction projects with in-house and subcontractor crews.
• Perform field engineering and work with network drafters/designers to create efficient route designs and cost estimates.
• Coordinate access/ROW agreements, permitting, joint-trenching and make-ready for utility poles.
• Represent the company in meetings with utility/state/local entities when permits are opened/closed.
• Inspect networks and ensure backbone is available for launches, deployments, and customer standards are followed.
• Estimate construction costs, prepare budgets and track expenses.
• Coordinate customer implementation activities including site visits, node placements and subcontract labor.
• Oversee invoices and billing; manage material inventory and daily task assignments.
