Qualifications

• Read and interpret drawings/maps to minimize new drawings.
• Work with departments to meet project timelines and ensure correct information.
• Proficient with Verizon IDDS/ICGS drafting system.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of FTTP and project documentation standards (land base maps, assessor maps, Verizon records).
• Collaborate with departments to meet timelines and ensure final product conveys correct information.
• Maintain proficiency in IDDS/ICGS drafting system and related tools.
• Plan feeder routes, cabinet locations, distribution routes, and boundaries.
• Design feeder and distribution layouts and redline on base maps.
• Generate work prints from IDDS/ICGS CAD system.
• Perform self-check and quality control of own work for accuracy and presentation.
• Stay informed on future telecom tech trends and apply to projects.
• Create and adjust project work plans to meet changing requirements.
