Job summary

TriTechne is seeking a Design Technician I to support our telecom design team in developing detailed CAD and GIS drawings. You will assist engineers, maintain organized files, and participate in design reviews to improve accuracy.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning industry standards, safety requirements, and best practices while collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, construction, and project management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic experience using CAD and GIS software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a technical design environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating detailed CAD and/or GIS drawings for telecom infrastructure projects.
• Support engineers and senior designers with design updates and documentation.
• Maintain organized and accurate design files and records.
• Participate in design reviews and apply feedback to improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, construction, and project management.
