Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC seeks a Coax Splicer in Hanover, MD. This field position involves performing coax upgrades and splicing both aerial and underground, testing and activating equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will document work and manage materials, while maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Eligible candidates are 18+, authorized to work in the U.S., with a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• Authorization to work in the United States
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant experience
• Valid State driver’s license with clean record
• Pass DOT physical for medical card
• Six months coax splicing experience or 1 year telecom industry experience

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards
• Safely navigate working at different heights and environments
• Complete basic daily vehicle maintenance and checks
• Document work with daily production reports, maps, and material usage records
• Other duties as assigned
