Job summary

CableCom, LLC is seeking a Splicer I Coax in Snohomish, WA. The role involves performing coax splicing tasks both aerial and underground, testing and troubleshooting post-installation equipment, and maintaining documentation and maps for material usage.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least six months in coax splicing or one year in telecommunications, with a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a DOT medical exam. This is an hourly, field-based position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Six months of coax splicing experience or one year in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records.
