Job summary

Dewberry is seeking Telecom/Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to join our Telecommunications Department in the Boston, MA office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a team of professionals and apply the latest technology to real-world projects. Responsibilities include assisting project managers, conducting field work, and performing construction inspections.

Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering; proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HydroCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• Previous internship experience a plus.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D or HydroCAD.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Desire to work in team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in preparation of construction and permitting documents for telecommunication/technology/EV projects.
• Conduct field work to gather information to be utilized in design preparation.
• Complete construction inspections of completed installations and prepare associated reports for project closeout packages.
