Job summary

Dewberry is currently seeking Telecom/Civil Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 to join our Telecommunications Department in our Richmond, VA office. This internship offers hands-on project experience and the opportunity to work on cutting-edge telecommunication and EV projects with a team of professionals. Successful candidates are pursuing a B.S.

in Civil Engineering, with proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D tools. Housing stipend may be available; relocation assistance is not provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD 3D, Civil 3D or HydroCAD.
• Solid oral and written communication skills.
• Desire to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in preparation of construction and permitting documents for telecommunication/technology/EV projects.
• Conduct field work to gather information to be utilized in design preparation.
• Complete construction inspections of completed installations and prepare associated reports for project closeout packages.
