Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager to join our Energy & Utility Group as part of the Telecommunications Team in planning, drafting, design, permitting and construction administration of telecom and utility projects.

You will review roadway plans, design relocation plans, oversee production, mentor junior staff, and coordinate multiple projects to deliver high-quality, on-time results for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
• Experience in utility relocation design, utility coordination, or roadway design.
• Positive work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Review roadway plans to identify conflicts with existing utilities.
• Design civil relocation plans for telecom and utility projects using MicroStation, AutoCAD, or other design software.
• Plan and oversee work production to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Provide technical oversight, training and mentoring of less experienced staff.
• Lead multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate with support groups for on-time, quality deliverables.
• Review projects for accuracy, quality, and adherence to client specifications.
