Job summary

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • BICSI certification a plus.
  • 2-4 years experience with all phases of structured cabling installations.
  • Current valid Driver's License required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail; ability to work independently.
  • Must pass background check.
  • Documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install and test copper cable, CAT 5e/6/6a, coax, fiber, and AV installations.
  • Terminate and test connectivity of equipment and cables.
  • Label and record test results; maintain network documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair outages to maintain service.
  • Travel as needed for job sites.
