Ivy H. Smith Company, LLC in Ocala, FL is seeking a Telecom Drill Bores Operator to operate drill equipment and install underground telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

You will determine bore paths, safely control all equipment, verify utilities by potholing, and maintain bore schedules in all weather conditions. The role includes hands-on training and opportunities for career growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver\'s license (not Provisional) with acceptable driving record.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver\'s license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience with drilling equipment, including capabilities, limitations, and setup/design processes.

Responsibilities

• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Safely operate and control all necessary equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Verify existing utilities by potholing to determine bore path.
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems.
• Develop and maintain a bore schedule.
• Responsible for site set-up, clean-up, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
