Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications BIM Designer to develop and coordinate BIM models for telecom and low-voltage systems. You will work with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil teams to resolve conflicts and deliver constructible designs from concept through construction.

The role requires advanced BIM skills, experience with telecom infrastructure, and a collaborative mindset to support design reviews, standards, and client deliverables.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Experience delivering telecommunications, structured cabling, fiber optic, or low-voltage infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of BIM coordination, clash detection, and model management.
• Understanding of BIM standards and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and maintain BIM models for telecom and low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate models across disciplines to resolve conflicts and improve outcomes.
• Produce construction documents and support design reviews.
• Provide technical guidance and support field verification and as-built updates.
