Job summary

Aretum is hiring a Telecom Invoicing and Billing Specialist to support public and private sector telecom invoicing needs, including validation, reconciliation, and processing. This role requires handling CUI in a federal contracting environment and adherence to safeguarding and compliance requirements.

The position demands at least 2 years of telecom invoicing and billing experience, an associate’s degree (with an equivalent experience option), and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Requires strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience with telecom invoicing and billing processes preferred
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint in a professional setting
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Validate vendor charges, reconcile accounts, and process payments using client financial systems
• Research payment statuses, resolve discrepancies, and maintain data accuracy
• Electronically process and transmit invoices
• Manage email inboxes to ensure timely resolution of tickets and inquiries
• Reconcile vendor accounts with contracts to ensure accuracy
• Prepare balance sheets and financial statements as needed
• Collaborate on Business Objects reports for stakeholders
• Monitor data accuracy in income/expense and GL accounts
• Address and resolve billing inquiries from agencies and vendors
• Support interagency funding documentation and document storage processes
