American Electric Power (AEP) is seeking a Network Analyst to assist with the management of telecommunication networks, test and analyze network facilities, and support LAN/WAN operations. You will help monitor data traffic, resolve basic issues, and document project work.
Under general direction, you will develop knowledge of AEP networks, prepare cost estimates for routine engineering tasks, and follow change and incident management processes.

Under general direction: assists with the management of telecommunication networks; assists with testing and analyzing network facilities, control software, routers, switches, lines, modems, adapters, and servers; assists with routine installation and support of LANs and/or WANs; performs technical analyses of software and hardware to ensure efficient operation; helps monitor data traffic and controls network performance; helps resolve basic technical problems related to network failure/integrity;
Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, telecommunications, or related field of study or Associate's degree in field mentioned above with 2 years of relevant work experience or HS diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience required.
No additional experience beyond what is listed above is required.
Valid Driver's License is Required.
Occasional travel required.
