Job summary

Techner Ltd. is seeking an experienced telecom analytics specialist to surface trends from large wireless datasets and translate business challenges into AI-powered data pipelines.

You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and leaders to drive smarter networks and improved customer outcomes. You will leverage Python, SQL, and big data platforms, building executive dashboards with Looker or Qlik.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in telecom/wireless analytics, ideally at a Tier-1 carrier or major vendor.
• Strong Python skills and advanced SQL with hands-on data pipeline experience.
• Experience with GCP and large-scale data platforms.
• Experience turning business problems into analytics-driven strategy with AI/ML or data science teams.
• Experience building executive dashboards and reports in Looker or Qlik; HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and set direction without detailed specs.

Responsibilities

• Dig into large wireless datasets to surface trends, issues, and growth opportunities, and proactively spot new AI/ML use cases beyond any checklist.
• Bridge business teams, data scientists, and AI engineers, translating problems into data-backed AI recommendations and automated data pipelines.
• Advise engineers on data quality, feature design, and real-world context to shape model applications.
• Identify ways data can drive automation, prediction, and smarter network and customer operations.
• Work cross-functionally to set goals, metrics, and AI/analytics roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Brief senior leaders with clear insights, dashboards, and reports that simplify complex data.
• Assess data readiness for predictive, ML, and GenAI use, and help prioritize AI projects by impact and feasibility.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years in telecom/wireless analytics, ideally at a Tier-1 carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile) or a major vendor
• Strong Python skills and advanced SQL, with hands-on experience building automated data pipelines
• Working experience with GCP and large-scale data platforms
• Solid knowledge of wireless architecture, RAN, network KPIs, and customer experience metrics
• Experience turning business problems into analytics-driven strategy alongside AI/ML or data science teams, including exposure to GenAI or Agentic AI
• Experience building executive dashboards and reports in Looker or Qlik; working knowledge of HTML and CSS for customizing visuals is a plus
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and set direction without detailed specs
