Bigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Aerial Foreman to oversee installation, maintenance and repair of aerial telecom systems in the Asheville, NC area. You will serve as the on-site expert, guiding less experienced teammates and ensuring safety, quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating fiber/telecom installs, staff leadership, and maintaining safe work environments. Willingness to travel for storm response is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Pole climber certification or willingness to obtain one.
• CDL Class A is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber/telecom cables and support structures per codes and customer requirements.
• Maintain safe work areas and manage traffic flow on site.
• Climb to heights safely using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Operate hand and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Provide guidance and support to crew as needed.
• Travel for storm response on short notice.
• Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety.
