Job summary

Blue Signal Search in Silver City, New Mexico seeks a seasoned Accounting Manager to lead and participate in day-to-day accounting operations within a telecommunications-focused organization.

You will oversee an established accounting team, manage month-end close, and ensure regulatory reporting and GAAP compliance, including FCC Part 32 requirements, while partnering with senior financial leadership to drive strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Direct accounting experience in telecommunications or related telecom.
• Experience with FCC Part 32 accounting and regulatory reporting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hands-on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Lead and support an established accounting team in day-to-day functions.
• Support accounting across regulated and non-regulated operations.
• Manage intercompany accounting with affiliated entities.
• Apply FCC Part 32 accounting and GAAP requirements.
• Partner with senior leadership on accounting priorities.
• Assist regulatory reporting based on needs.
• Provide leadership and coaching in a high-performing team.
• Identify issues and drive work to completion independently.
