• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit
• Contract Length: Up to 18 weeks (confirm preferred duration at submission)
• Start Date: September 5, 2025
• End Date: January 9, 2026
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; typically 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights as needed)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State nursing license required at time of application
• Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all current and active)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in telemetry specialty required
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Ability to work at least every other holiday
• Background check and fingerprinting required prior to start date
• Completion of required onboarding modules before assignment begins
  
  

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond promptly to changes in patient condition, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Administer medications, perform comprehensive assessments, and document all care accurately
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
• Float to similar nursing units as needed to support hospital operations
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and healthcare safety standards
