HM Staffing Solutions LLC seeks a skilled low voltage Technician to install, test, and troubleshoot a range of communication systems in commercial spaces. You will interpret blueprints, lead cable installations, perform terminations, and configure equipment with precision.

You will mentor junior installers, plan weekly material needs, ensure safety on site, and work with project leads to meet standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• 12 years of low voltage installation experience in commercial construction
• Knowledge of color codes 4 and 25 pair and cable termination methods
• Ability to interpret schematics and work independently or under guidance
• Familiarity with Office 365 apps and project tracking tools

Responsabilités

• Install and terminate coax, UTP, DAS, AV, multiconductor, access control, intrusion, and fiber cabling per drawings
• Operate copper and fiber test equipment; identify and resolve performance issues
• Read and apply drawings, specs, and job scopes accurately
• Mentor junior installers and plan material needs; keep daily to-do lists
• Ensure safety and cleanliness on site and align with industry standards

About the Role

Are you ready to take the next step in your low voltage career HM Staffing is looking for a skilled driven Technician whos passionate about installing testing and troubleshooting a wide range of communication systems From fiber optics to access control youll be part of a team that builds the infrastructure powering todays most advanced commercial spaces In this role youll interpret blueprints lead cable installations and perform terminations and equipment setups with precision and care Whether youre mentoring junior installers or planning weekly material needs youll bring quality consistency and professionalism to every job site

What Youll Do

Execute with Precision Lead with Accountability Handle installation and termination of Coax UTP DAS AV Multiconductor Access Control Intrusion Detection and Fiber cables and connectors Operate copper and fiber test equipment; identify and resolve performance issues Read and apply drawings specifications and job scopes accurately Anticipate weekly labor and material needs with a proactive mindset Build and follow daily to do lists and ensure installers follow standards and best practices Perform retrofits and system enhancements for existing cabling and devices Assist in laying out cable pathways with minimal direction and help direct junior crew members Mount and configure electronic devices such as switches cameras and UPS systems Report daily task progress to Project Leads; monitor and track project materials Promote safety professionalism and cleanliness on site; represent the company with pride Follow OSHA 10 guidelines and ensure installations align with industry and Instrata standards Work closely with Leads and Foremen to plan bonding grounding firestopping and other key elements of the project

What You Bring

12 years of low voltage installation experience in commercial construction Knowledge of color codes 4 and 25 pair and cable termination methods Familiarity with cabling codes standards and tools for structured installations Ability to interpret schematics and work independently or under guidance Basic use of smartphones tablets and cable test equipment Comfortable with Office 365 Word Excel Outlook Familiarity with Smartsheet and other project tracking tools

Certifications & Requirements

HighSchool Diploma or GED or equivalent experience OSHA 10 Certification required Valid clean drivers license
