Job summary

Responsibilities

• Владеть результатами поставки и техническими стандартами команды.

• Задавать архитектуру платежей и направление развития.
• Улучшать точность платежей и их обработку, снижая издержки.
• Определять operating model и темп команды.
• Управлять зависимостями и продвиать работу перед стейкхолдерами.
• Менторить младших инженеров и решать сложные задачи вместе со старшим инженером.
• Выявлять потребности в повышении и найме совместно с менеджером.

tem is rebuilding the energy transaction market with AI-native infrastructure designed to make electricity buying, selling, and pricing more transparent and efficient. Its RED utility product serves business customers and facilitates energy transactions.

Задачи:

• Own the squad’s delivery outcomes and engineering standards
• Write specifications and design documents, give feedback on ADRs, review pull requests, and solve problems through code or workflows
• Set the technical architecture and direction for payments
• Improve payment accuracy and processing efficiency to reduce processing costs
• Define the squad’s operating model and pace
• Manage sequencing and dependencies, diagnose throughput issues, and make the squad’s work visible to stakeholders
• Coach junior engineers and solve complex problems alongside the senior engineer
• Identify promotion and hiring gaps with the manager and make people decisions jointly
• Report to the Service Manager for Saldo

Требования:

• Track record as a tech lead owning a squad’s delivery outcomes and standards
• Experience writing design documents, reviewing PRs and ADRs, solving problems hands-on, and setting direction
• Ability to balance hands-on work on major technical challenges with coaching junior engineers and maintaining consistent quality and speed
• Experience designing a team’s ways of working from scratch while balancing speed, quality, and resilience
• Experience owning cross-team sequencing and dependencies and diagnosing throughput problems
• Ability to set technical direction amid ambiguity and drive technical blockers to resolution
• Будет плюсом: experience with payment systems, improving processing costs or efficiency in a high-volume service, taking a service from an initial version to one built for scale
