Job summary

Preferred Behavioral Health Group seeks a Youth Support Specialist for the SAIL - Youth Program in New Jersey. The role focuses on building therapeutic relationships with adolescents in a small, collaborative treatment environment, delivering client-centered care.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or an Associate's degree with a background in psychology, social work, or ABA, and is prepared to work full-time in a supportive, team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ driver’s license.
• Complete background check/fingerprinting requirement.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care services and work with the multidisciplinary team to plan and implement the plan of care with regular reviews.
• Transport program participants to and from the program and follow transportation policies; manage daily routes.
• Facilitate group activities including psychoeducation, education about medications, nutrition, group counseling, coping skills, and support groups.
• Manage milieu operations: behavior modification, crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and ensure safety.
