Henderson County Public Library is seeking a Teen Services Associate to create engaging experiences for teens through programs, collections, and services. You will work with the Public Services Department to support daily operations and build positive relationships with youth aged 12–18.

The role emphasizes innovative programming, equity in access to resources, and aligning with the library's mission to be the welcoming heart of Henderson County.

Job description

The Teen Services Associate creates meaningful opportunities for teens to explore, learn, and connect through library programs, collections, and services. As a member of the Public Services Department, this position develops engaging experiences for youth ages 12–18 while providing exceptional customer service and supporting daily public service operations. Through positive relationships, innovative programming, and equitable access to resources, this role advances the Henderson County Public Library's mission of being the welcoming heart of Henderson County, offering hospitality, community, possibilities, and learning for all.

This is a full time (40 hours a week) position with a starting pay of 14.20-18.58 per hour, pending education and experience. We offer health, dental, vision, Aflac insurance, pension, 401K, paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time.
