Job summary

Henderson County Public Library is seeking a Public Services Librarian to deliver exceptional customer service by connecting patrons with resources, information, programs, and technology. The role includes reference, readers' advisory, circulation, genealogy support, and technology assistance, all within a welcoming, inclusive environment.

This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a starting pay of $14.20–$18.58 per hour, depending on education and experience, plus a benefits package

As a member of the Public Services Department, the Public Services Librarian delivers exceptional customer service by connecting patrons with library resources, information, programs, and technology. This position provides reference, readers' advisory, circulation, genealogy support, and technology assistance while creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Through active service, community engagement, and a commitment to lifelong learning, this role advances the Henderson County Public Library's mission of being the welcoming heart of Henderson County, offering hospitality, community, possibilities, and learning for all.
