Job summary

TPEG, Inc. in Central Valley region seeks a developing clinician for a full-time behavioral health therapist role.

You will provide comprehensive psychotherapy across a full continuum of care and collaborate with case managers, medical staff, and leadership to ensure effective, compassionate care. The role emphasizes structured supervision, in-house training, and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
• Current state license as a mental health therapist (ACSW, AMFT, APCC) with active associate number per BBS.
• Minimum of one year of experience in mental health/substance abuse treatment preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with diverse populations and commitment to equity and culturally responsive care.
• Proficiency in word processing and database/spreadsheet applications.
• Ability to pass DOJ background clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy.
• Support clients navigating mental health and co-occurring challenges.
• Deliver crisis intervention and stabilization when needed.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches.
• Deliver care grounded in evidence-based practices (DBT, CBT, CPT, IFS, IPNB, trauma-informed care).
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams to support client transitions.
• Engage in supervision and ongoing clinical development.
