Circuit Stream is seeking an instructor to bring engineering to life for teenagers at St. Edwards University this summer.

You will deliver the provided Introduction to Engineering curriculum, lead hands-on activities, and create an engaging classroom environment that encourages curiosity and participation. The role requires teaching experience with youth, strong communication, and the ability to manage a classroom.

Qualifications

• You genuinely enjoy working with teenagers and can keep a group engaged, participating, and excited to learn.
• Professional, academic, or substantial project experience in engineering, engineering technology, or a related STEM field.
• A completed or in-progress degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Circuit Stream’s Introduction to Engineering curriculum with energy, clarity, and strong classroom facilitation.
• Guide students through hands-on activities and projects, explain engineering concepts in beginner-friendly ways, and ensure learners meet course objectives.
• Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and use behavior-management techniques to reinforce expectations, rules, and safety.
• Monitor student understanding, provide feedback and support, and communicate learner needs to the Circuit Stream team.
• Supervise students during scheduled indoor and outdoor activities, maintaining engagement, behavior, and safety.
