Circuit Stream is seeking an in-person instructor at the University of Houston to bring engineering to life for teens aged 13-17. You will deliver the Introduction to Engineering curriculum, guide hands-on activities, and ensure engaging, safe, and accessible learning experiences during the summer program.

Ideal candidates will have engineering or related STEM qualifications, strong communication, and a passion for youth education. Training and background checks are required before courses begin.

Formación

• Enjoy working with teens and keep them engaged.
• Professional or project experience in engineering or STEM.
• Degree in engineering or related STEM (in progress acceptable).
• Strong communication and classroom facilitation.
• Previous teaching or youth program experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver the provided Introduction to Engineering curriculum with energy and clarity.
• Guide hands-on activities and explain concepts to beginners.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Monitor understanding and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Supervise students during activities and ensure safety.
