Athletes Global Corporation is seeking a Cosmetology Instructor to lead an after-school enrichment program for middle school students in Robinson, TX. This in-person role involves teaching fundamentals of cosmetology through hands-on activities, focusing on hair, skincare, nail care, and salon safety while promoting creativity and self-expression.

The schedule runs Mondays and Thursdays, 5pm–6pm, dates listed in the program, for 7th–8th grade, with pay of $24–$28 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in cosmetology, esthetics, barbering, nail technology, beauty education, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching, mentoring, or working with youth is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for beauty education and helping students explore new skills and career interests.
• Reliable, organized, patient, and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate cosmetology lessons and activities.
• Teach foundational cosmetology concepts, including hair care, skincare, nail care, hygiene, and salon safety.
• Demonstrate basic beauty techniques using safe, educational practices.
• Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
• Supervise students and ensure their well-being throughout the program.
• Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and program coordinators.
• Arrive prepared with lesson plans, materials, and supplies for each class.
