Qualifications

Licensed cosmetologist or beauty educator.
Experience teaching or mentoring youth is desirable.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Passion for beauty education and helping students explore new skills.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate cosmetology lessons and activities.
Teach foundational cosmetology concepts, including hair care, skincare, nail care, hygiene, and salon safety.
Demonstrate basic beauty techniques using safe, educational practices.
Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and professionalism.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
Supervise students throughout the program and ensure their well-being.
Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and program coordinators.
Arrive prepared with lesson plans, materials, and supplies for each class.
