The YMCA of Greater New York is hiring a Teen Advisor to lead and supervise teen services across multiple programs, including Teen Center, Rowe Scholars, and Leaders Club. The role involves coordinating activities, promoting participation, and ensuring youth engagement across branches.

You will advertise and recruit participants, manage documentation and reporting, and work to meet program outcomes and deliverables under supervision of the Teen Coordinator.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; College credits preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience working with pre-teens and teens (ages 13+).
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Knowledge of Access, Adobe PageMaker, and Photoshop preferred.
• Must complete Mandated Reporter Training within 30 days of hire.
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership; comfortable working with diverse youth and adults.

The La Central YMCA is seeking Teen Advisors. Under the supervision of the Teen Coordinator, the Teen Advisor will play a critical role in the successful operation of the teen programs. The Teen Advisor will lead and supervise all teen services and programs, including Teen Center, Rowe Scholars, Leaders Club, and Saturday Night Lights. In addition, the Teen Advisor will be responsible for advertising and recruiting participants, ensuring proper documentation and reporting, and meeting program outcome goals and deliverables.
