The YMCA of Greater New York is hiring a Teen Advisor for the Northeast Bronx YMCA. The role supports teen programs, coordinates Teen Center activities, and drives engagement among youth and families in a fast-paced community setting.
Under the Teen Coordinator, you will plan lessons, supervise activities, maintain documentation, and ensure safety. A high school diploma and at least 1 year with teens are required; Mandated Reporter Training within 30 days is needed.

The Northeast Bronx YMCA is seeking Teen Advisors. Under the supervision of the Teen Coordinator, the Teen Advisor will play a critical role in the successful operation of the teen programs. The Teen Advisor will lead and supervise all teen services and programs, including Teen Center, Rowe Scholars, Leaders Club, and Saturday Night Lights. In addition, the Teen Advisor will be responsible for advertising and recruiting participants, ensuring proper documentation and reporting, and meeting program outcome goals and deliverables.
Benefit eligibility is determined by an individual’s employment status (i.e., full-time or part-time), tenure, and/or the number of hours scheduled to work.
