Job summary

EPM Scientific is seeking a Biomedical Technician to perform incoming inspections and functional testing on TEE probes, identifying defects and supporting accurate quotes. You will repair failing components, rework bending and articulation parts, and ensure leakage current and dielectric tests meet safety standards.

Responsibilities include documenting results, maintaining repair records, and contributing to training materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years' experience with small parts preferred.
• Prior experience in TEE probe or endoscope repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of TEE probes for defects.
• Conduct functional testing with OEM or third-party equipment to pinpoint root causes.
• Document defect findings and support accurate quoting.
• Repair lens, housing seals, and insertion tube components as needed.
• Rework bending section mechanisms and articulation components.
• Perform leakage current and dielectric testing for safety compliance.
• Complete QA documentation and sign-off per SOPs.
• Maintain repair records and support training materials.
