SERVPRO of Bullitt/Nelson is seeking a dedicated restoration professional to respond to emergency damage events and perform water and fire restoration tasks. You will load and manage tools, coordinate with supervisors, and communicate clearly with clients throughout the process.

The role requires physical stamina for lifting and working in challenging environments, plus willingness to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in restoration, construction, or related field preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water and fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities and set up of equipment.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools and supplies.
• Communicate safety hazards, site findings, and equipment needs to supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients and explain the restoration process.
• Perform cleanup tasks including water extraction and drying.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including but not limited to, water extraction, fire damages, set-up of specialty equipment, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements for the worksite with supervisors.
• Maintain open and clear communication with clients, addressing their concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site clean-up

Position Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to work occasional on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is preferred.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to work with/around cleaning agents.
