National Beef in North Baltimore, Ohio, is seeking a Maintenance Technician (2nd/3rd shift) with strong mechanical and electrical skills. Starting wage is competitive; 2nd/3rd shift differential applies and perfect attendance bonuses may apply.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems, with safety as a priority. On-site position with excellent benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment.
• Ability to use common hand tools.
• Basic English reading/writing skills preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and be punctual.
• Industrial electrical controls experience, 480V motors and drives helpful.
• Experience in refrigeration and maintenance roles is a plus.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems.
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative maintenance and lubrication/inspection.
• Assist with installation of equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment and motor controls.
• Log work activities for history, parts management and reporting.
• Collaborate with management and other departments on maintenance issues.

Competitive Wages and Benefits:

• Starting wage $29 per hour
• $1 per hour shift differential for 2nd Shift/3rd Shift
• $2.50 per hour Perfect Attendance Bonus paid weekly

Responsabilidades

Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot and repair of mechanical equipment and building systems
• Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment/machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance- Lubrication/inspection
• Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot/repair/replace industrial electrical equipment- Motors, Drives, controls
• Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting
• Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
• Other duties as assigned

This is a safety sensitive position. This position is on-site.

Cualificaciones

The ideal candidate for the maintenance technician position should possess the following:

• Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment
• Ability to use common hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Willingness to work overtime and be on time when scheduled
• Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
• Strong work ethic and eye for detail
• Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Industrial Electrical controls experience
• Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
• Refrigeration Experience
• Allen Bradley PLC experience a plus

Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
