Neels Pharmacy in St. Louis, MO is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacological services, stock medications, assist patients by phone and in person, and help maintain inventory. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and a team-focused environment.

We are an independent retail community pharmacy. We fill many different types of prescriptions, including compounds. Well-rounded compounding, IV room, or lab experience preferred.
We are open normally Monday through Friday from 9am to 7pm and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. We are closed most major holidays. This job will have varying hours during normal business hours. It is for 5 days a week and may include every other Saturday.
Supports pharmacological services by stocking, assembling, and distributing medications.
Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.
Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs.
Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, and assembling pharmaceutical therapies.
Maintains records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
Generates receipts by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
