The Technology Transfer Transactions Specialist supports Brigham Young University's Technology Transfer Office by managing technology commercialization transactions from initial agreement preparation through execution and post‑signature handoff. The position works closely with the Director of Technology Transfer and licensing professionals to move licenses, options, confidentiality agreements, amendments, and related transactions efficiently through the contracting process. The specialist serves as the primary coordinator once a transaction is ready to proceed, maintaining momentum through drafting, document circulation, revisions, communications, approvals, signatures, and completion. The position requires exceptional organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, professional communication, persistence, and the ability to manage a large number of transactions simultaneously.
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree required. (A degree in business, finance, law, communications, technology, science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.) Relevant professional experience may be considered in evaluating a candidate's qualifications.

Pay Grade: 51 Typical Starting Pay: $28.25-$36.25 ($59,000-$75,500) The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job‑related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work‑related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
