Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level to senior associate with 4-8 years of experience to join the Technology Transactions, Cybersecurity, and Privacy Practice Group in Austin, TX. The candidate will focus on technology transactions in the health care and life sciences sectors.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial technology agreements, including software and SaaS agreements.
• Handle data licensing and use agreements, cloud services agreements, and professional services agreements.
• Advise on strategic collaboration agreements and digital health products and services.
• Provide guidance on privacy and data security laws applicable to health care and health technology.
• Manage transactions independently and collaborate with senior attorneys and clients.

Requirements

• Experience in technology transactions focused on health care and life sciences.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and state health and consumer privacy laws.
• Experience with health technology and artificial intelligence matters preferred.
