Job summary

GEHA seeks a Technology Team Lead, Web & Digital Solutions, to steer enterprise web applications built on Next.js with Sitecore and cloud-native APIs. You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, and align delivery with governance and security best practices.

You will lead Azure-based deployments, CI/CD, and cross-functional collaboration with product, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Eng or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering/web app experience.
• 3 years leading projects cross-functionally.

The Technology Team Lead, Web & Digital Solutions provides technical leadership and day-to-day guidance for a team supporting modern web applications built on the Next.js framework, including the Sitecore platform and other solutions like OneTrust for consent compliance. This role serves as a key liaison between the development team and management, helping drive technical excellence, team development, and successful solution delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership experience, serving as a mentor, technical advisor, and trusted partner to both team members and leadership.

• Partner with management to communicate team priorities, risks, resource needs, and development opportunities.

Talent Acquisition & Development

• Participate in recruiting activities, technical interviews, candidate assessments, and hiring recommendations.
• Support onboarding and knowledge transfer activities for new team members.
• Help identify skill gaps and recommend training and development opportunities.

Application Delivery & Platform Ownership

• Lead the design, development, deployment, and support of enterprise web applications and customer-facing digital experiences.
• Guide development of Azure-hosted applications, APIs, and microservices utilizing modern DevOps practices.
• Provide technical leadership for Sitecore content management, personalization, and Sitecore platform initiatives.
• Support governance, enhancement, and operational efforts for OneTrust privacy and consent management solutions.
• Collaborate with cross functional business and technology stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, web application development, or application architecture.
• Requires 3 years of experience leading projects including working cross functionally to successfully deliver key initiatives.
• Experience mentoring technical teams and providing day-to-day leadership within a software development environment.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using modern web frameworks such as Next.js, Svelte, Vue, or other similar technologies.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application architectures.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, application security, and engineering best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sitecore Experience Platform (XP), XM Cloud, Sitecore DXP, or related CMS platforms.
• Experience utilizing Sitecore XM Cloud capabilities for content management, personalization, recommendations, and digital experience optimization.
• Experience supporting OneTrust Privacy Management, Consent Management, Cookie Compliance, or Data Governance solutions.
• Experience with Vercel hosting services, among other capabilities within the platform.
• Experience with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, and Azure API Management (APIM).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth, SAML, and modern authentication technologies.
• Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments.

Work-at-home requirements

Must have the ability to provide a non-cellular High Speed Internet Service such as Fiber, DSL, or cable Modems for a home office. A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 30x5 (30mpbs download x 5mpbs upload) is required. Latency (ping) response time lower than 80 ms Hotspots, satellite and wireless internet service is NOT allowed for this role. G.E.H.A considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.

The target hiring range for this position is $126,147 - $159,583 USD.

At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $177,821 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization.
