Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Technology Strategy Manager in Atlanta to deliver advisory and implementation services across the Transformation Practice. You’ll shape IT strategy, assess environments, and develop roadmaps for client success.

You will lead teams in package selection, architecture modeling, and business-case development, travel up to 40%, with in-person work several days weekly under GT’s hybrid model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, computer science or related field required.
• MBA or MIS preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience in Strategy Consulting, servicing technology engagements preferred.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills.
• Experience assessing IT organizations – strategy alignment, cost structure, and operating model.
• Experience with strategic IT assessment, enterprise cloud assessments and roadmap development.
• Can travel as needed. Travel up to 40%.
• Hybrid work model requires in-person attendance at least two days per week at GT office or client site.

Responsibilities

• Understand organizational, operating model, process, and technology perspectives for clients.
• Stay up to date on technology trends and solutions for addressing industry challenges.
• Support proposals and presentations, identify new opportunities for GT on engagements.
• Lead strategic assessments of client technology environments against maturity models.
• Develop value-driven recommendations and roadmaps for client needs.
• Lead teams in technology package selection, design, and implementation planning.
• Assess technology organizations and align capabilities to enterprise strategy and operating model.
• Utilize first principles thinking and customized frameworks to solve problems.
• Analyze data and synthesize insights for senior audiences.
• Develop business cases to support strategic initiatives and IT transformations.
• Build and analyze financial models and budgets.
• Coach and develop team members and demonstrate executive presence.
• Contribute to service offerings and thought leadership.
